Yesterday, I was informed of the resignation of Governor Palin. I was quite surprised. Right away many factors came to my mind about why she would do this. The political man I am, I went online and did my research. Since the Presidential Election Governor Palin's ratings in Alaska dropped from the mid 90 percentile to the lower 50 percentile. I immediately wondered if this was her motive. The news reports continued to flood in and the number 2012 stood out among all other figures. Palin, on the ballot for the Republican Nomination for the Presidency in 2012!
I called my Mom for a bit and we chatted and I brought this up to her, thinking she'd laugh a bit, I mean, I've never taken Palin seriously. Mom told me she thought this was premature. "Where is she going to get income for the next 3 years? Why not wait a while, or at least finish out her term? What is she doing with her life?"
The question of the day. What are we doing with our lives? I've been asking myself this question for the past month and a half. After running for Minnesota's National Officer Candidate, and not getting it, quitting a job, which I hated, and losing a very very close family friend, life just didn't seem like it had much of a point. It's taken a long while to realize this, but here it is: Just Live!
Now, I'm not saying that this is an easy task to live by. Sarah Palin best describes how to Just Live in her children. Palin has 5 children. Now these children are just like everyone else, yet Palin put an extra spin on their lives with her choice of names. Track, Trig, Bristol,Willow, and Piper.
Now I went online to http://politsk.blogspot.com/2008/09/sarah_13.html use the Sarah Palin name generator as fun activity with my friend, Nick. Derek John Mulhern translates into Engine Nighthawk Palin. I will forever be Engine now. To help me life a spontaneous life and Just Live. An important lesson we can take from this is that Palin stopped listening to the world around her. Instead she did what she wanted!

Naming your children isn't the only way we Just Live. There are so many other ways. First, look for some stability in your life. Maybe it's that job that you've been looking for for a long time now. Or a simple routine of your life. Start a Journal, or begin working out. Don't forget to Believe in Magic every once in a while too! Give your life a purpose!

I start a job that I've been looking forward to next Tuesday with AgriBank! I'm so thrilled an excited to begin being a professional once again. Maybe the last month and a half of my life seemed like there was no purpose, or no point, but I'm glad I just lived. I enjoyed the curves life threw at me, and took the challenges on with a positive attitude. I once heard that people come into your life 1 of 3 ways; A Season, A Reason, or A Lifetime. Well, in my time waiting and waiting I've finally found someone who has come into my life for a reason, and a lifetime. I'm not sure of the capacity of this, but I know that the reason Nick and I get along so well, is because we both JUST LIVE!

Life as I know it is going great. From one of the worst times in my life, to the best, I've learned a lot. I hope everyone enjoys Independence Day. Have fun and be safe.
Maybe Sarah Palin isn't such a crazy woman after all. She's given me, and you something spectacular to think about. If you were Sarah Palin's child, what would your name be?
Until Next Time,
Engine.
I love it!
